Hi there,
I am thinking of shifting over to C++ on an experimental basis since
there are soooo many good things being said about it!
Here's my dilema. Which one (from which vendor) do I buy.??
My initial development platform is the IBM PC clone family.
I am a C refugee from the camps of Borland and Microsoft. (I used
whichever was handy).
Here is my wish list.
a) Implements AT&T C++ v2.0 faithfully.
b) Has a source-level debugger, along the lines of Turbo debugger or Dbx.
c) Runs on MS-DOS/MS-DOesnt.
d) Would be great if the company had a UNIX version!
Any hints will be mucho appreciated by e-mail or otherwise.
If you have a favourite C++ compiler/debugger please let me know.
Cost is not that much of a big deal unless exhorbitant!
Thanx
